Name

What the company is called. Shown everywhere the organisation appears.

Identifier

Lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. It goes in URLs and in every membership, and it cannot be changed afterwards — reusing an id would silently retarget every existing membership at a different company.

Type

The type decides which roles the organisation accepts. A supplier role inside a client organisation would match queries the client never intended, so the API refuses it.
